Andrew will provide a technical and up to date discussion of sustainable transport including information on the following items:

  • the current status of electric vehicles;
  • the future role of electric vehicle in a broader vision for urban sustainability.

Panel Discussion:

The seminar will conclude with a Question and Answer session to an invited panel including Andrew, and representatives and advocates of Rail Back on Track and and CityCycle.

Questions will be invited from the audience for the panel of invited speakers with expertise in the area of sustainable transport.

Genevieve Graves - the Manager, Sustainable Transport at RACQ. A policy analyst for the past twenty years she has experience in transport, social capital and human services. Her role at RACQ is focused on greener motoring including electric vehicles and eco-driving.

Rover Dow - administrator & founder of RAIL Back On Track: A web based community group that advocates for sustainable transport solutions mainly rail and advocates strongly for rail commuters, and at times other public transport commuters eg. bus & ferry, & is also concerned with the interface of other modes of public transport with rail.

Thea (Tae) Baker - is a recreational blogger, twitter & a passionate advocate for the #CityCycle scheme, She’s the 612Brisbane #CityCycle correspondent
