In line with the Engineers Australia theme The Year of Humanitarian Engineering the SEng and EWB Present:

Anna Nicholson from ARUP participated in the recent Hand in Hand trip to Tibet with 100 professional women. The event raised approximately $500k for the people of Tibet and assisted with valuable housing. Anna will present her video diary of the trip along with information of the next event to be held in Vietnam.

Marijke and Subha will be presenting on the Kooma Amenties Project which is a collaboration between Arup, Engineers Without Borders (EWB) and the Kooma Traditional Owners Association Incorporated (KTOAI). The aim of the project is to develop basic infrastructure facilities at the Murra Murra homestead as a further step towards developing a self-sustainable property where people can go ‘back to country’ and restoring the Kooma nation’s cultural and environmental significance.
