Sustainablity E-Learning Introduction Now Complete
After completion of this course, you should be able to understand:
that environmental sustainability has not always been a political issue;
the history of the measurement of greenhouse gases and how they relate to climate change;
that we are impacting all areas of the planet, including regional ecosystems;
how sustainability relates to you as a person, as an engineer and specifically to your discipline; and
the foundations for making change.

The ACT Sustainable Engineeting Society (SENG) is a technical society of Engineers Australia, the largest professional organisation for engineers in Australia.

Victoria - Tasmania Branch Information
The Vic-Tas Chapter is primarily focussed on providing Continuing Professional Development opportunities for members. We aim to run four seminars per year. Information on recent seminars may be found here. We also organise events such as networking and member mixer events, industrial site visits and student engagement events.
The chapter also works with our national board in policy development and issuing public statements on matters relevant to environmental and sustainability issues.
WA Branch Information
The Western Australian (WA) Chapter of SENG is affiliated with the WA Division of Engineers Australia, based in Allendale Square, St Georges Terrace, Perth. The WA Chapter holds regular seminars on a wide range of environmental and sustainability related topics.

Transmission Development Supporting Energy Transformation in SA and the NEM
This will be a face-to-face presentation describing Project Energy Connect, the new high voltage electricity interconnector under construction between SA and NSW. The speaker, Rainer Korte, will provide insights to SA’s leading role in the energy transformation and challenges arising. Learn about construction progress on the interconnector, challenging system integration requirements, and its role in supporting a clean energy future; how it will support the development of renewable energy projects and the export of renewable energy from SA.
